European public consultations
A channel for citizen participation in the legislative process of the European Union
Introduction
Within the framework of its Better Regulation programme, the European Commission encourages citizens and interested parties to participate in the drafting of European legislation at different stages of the procedure. The Commission can thus propose policies and regulations based on verified data that respond to the real needs of the interested parties (citizens, companies, public administrations, researchers, etc.).
