ECAM, the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid
The ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid), created in 1995, is a film and audiovisual school whose greatest asset is its alumni - old and current -, its professors and its team. Every year more than 300 active professionals in film, television and advertising go through classrooms, sets and post-production rooms to transmit their knowledge to the new generations of professionals in the sector. The teaching staff and the institutional relationships established with the sector, allow building bridges with the industry that facilitate the incorporation of students into the labor market.

Continuing Education
Short-term programs that seek the specialization and retraining of audiovisual professionals. Its objective is a training that offers different specific courses that allow improving, deepening or starting a specific technique.
Zero Training
Degrees with programs aimed at students who want to start their training in the audiovisual environment.
ECAM Distribution
Distributes the short films made by the students as a final Diploma project and the catalogs Film Now, OFF ECAM and Madrid en Corto.
ECAM Shorts
The final Diplomatura short films are distributed to festivals around the world. ECAM Distribución is in charge of registering, sending copies and materials to boost the students' careers and make their work visible at festivals and markets. In the last 10 years, ECAM's short films have garnered 4.300 selections and 352 awards.
National and international diffusion of 8 selected short films among those subsidized by the Community of Madrid.
One of the most outstanding broadcast programs in the national territory. In 2017 the program has reached 62 countries, with 817 selected.
The Screen
An initiative to promote audiovisual production and emerging Spanish talent.
Within the framework of The Screen it is developed The Incubator which opens the call for the development of feature film projects with the selection of five projects that will receive help for their development.
Collaborations
ECAM continuously establishes collaboration agreements with companies and institutions, bringing the school closer to the day-to-day life of the audiovisual sector. These agreements allow students to be incorporated into the labor market, increase the number of scholarships
support projects in which alumni participate through the Open ECAM initiative, incorporate more resources in the media library's catalog, implement new software or acquire materials for filming.
