
Madridcrealab
This program was created with the aim of promoting the development of feature film projects and creating an annual meeting point between screenwriters, directors and producers. Once the registration period for each edition has opened, interested parties can submit a single work that can be fiction, documentary, animation or experimental. Madridcrealab is a program promoted by PNR (Plataforma Nuevos Filmmakers), AMA (Madrid Audiovisual Association), ALMA (Screenwriters' Union), ECAM (School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid) and the Community of Madrid, which celebrates its eighth edition in 2019.
Each edition consists of 4 phases that take place from June to November:
- Selection of scripts
- Personalized tutorial sessions of the selected scripts (June, July, September and October)
- Pitching workshop (October, open to listeners)
- Final pitching before producers and professionals of the Madrid film industry (November)
MadridCrealab 2018
In the 2018 edition, 26 projects have been presented and 8 has been selected:

The tutoring and pitching work begins from June to November, developing in 3 phases:
- Tutorials; June to October
- November pitching workshop: 16, 17 and 23
- Public presentation to producers and professionals in the sector: November 29th
The scriptwriters Daniela Fejerman, Carlos Molinero, Lola Mayo and David Planell are the tutors of this edition whose working sessions have been carried out at the ECAM individually for each selected project.

Final pitching
It took place on November 29, in the Assembly Hall of Alcalá 31.
Film Madrid Award
The Office of Films awards the prize for the best script among the selected projects. It is endowed with 3.000 € and takes into account the artistic quality, the originality of the narrative resources and the predisposition of the script to highlight and promote the knowledge principles of the Community of Madrid through its external locations, its natural and urban landscape, as well as its tangible and intangible heritage.
