What is the Youth Guarantee?
It is a European program aimed at promoting the employment of young people.
What will you get if you are beneficiary Youth Guarantee?
- a job (companies will have bonuses to hire young people)
- a training plan that enables you to perform a profession
- finish compulsory education
- or study Vocational Training

Requirements
- Have Spanish nationality or be a citizen of the Union or of the States party to the European Economic Agreement or Switzerland who are in Spain exercising free movement and residence. You can also register if you are a foreigner with authorization to work in Spain.
- be registered in any locality from Spain
- Have more than 16 years or less than 30.
- Not have worked on the calendar day prior to the date of registration.
- not having received educational actions ni training actions on the calendar day prior to the date of registration.
- Show a commitment to active participation in the National Youth Guarantee System.
Registration
The application for registration to the National Youth Guarantee System must necessarily be made through the telematics platform of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE).

- Access the registry with Electronic DNI o electronic certificate

- If you are at risk of social exclusion and/or recognized disability, you can register through a form and present it at the registry offices of public administrations.

I'm already registered, now what?
You already are beneficiary Youth Guarantee, everything ready to access: courses, scholarships, job offers, etc.
You will be able to improve tu professional profile and yours opportunities de work, train you with an official qualification, complete your experience and build up a wider network of contacts and knowledge.
We tell you...
- It is important to register as a jobseeker in your Employment office, in which you will receive job orientation, employment training and job offers.
- Go to the search engine Public Employment Service, to see the offers of the Autonomous Employment Services and private companies that request young people registered in the Youth Guarantee System. A trick!, write in the search engine "Youth Guarantee" to filter the offers.
- Whenever you access a job offer, communicate that you are enrolled in the Youth Guarantee, it can be an advantage for the company.
You have to be attentive to the messages you may receive once you have signed up for the Youth Guarantee. If you want to move now, start here:
- Come to your Employment office in which they will indicate which courses are offered for the unemployed.
- Use the course finder Community of Madrid.
- Get in touch with the employment agency of the Madrid City Council.
- You can choose the Certificates of Professionalism with which you will obtain an official certification of some profession, language courses, ICTs, etc.

1. Request a scholarship for the study of second chance programs and you can do:
- The preparation course for the test to obtain the Certificate of Compulsory Secondary Education, for people over 18 years of age.
- The specific training course for access to intermediate level training cycles.
- An Intermediate Professional Training course.
- The specific training course, for access to Higher Level Vocational Training training cycles.
- A Higher Level Vocational Training course.
- And professional programs aimed at obtaining Level 1 Professional Qualification Certificates.
2. You can enroll in the Adult Education Centers (CEPA) in which teachings are carried out to obtain the Graduate Certificate in Compulsory Secondary Education and Teaching of Basic Professional Training (FPB).
3. And take the Dual Vocational Training for Intermediate and Higher Level training cycles and combining theoretical training in educational centers with practical training in the company.
Entrepreneurship is another job option
The Youth Guarantee funds will also provide you with:
- Incentives in social security contributions
- Aid for self-employment
- Advice on self-employment and business creation
- Training for entrepreneurship
