Clean techstart is an acceleration programme geared towards entrepreneurs in the area of clean technology. The programme is committed to quickly transforming science-technology-based startups in the clean technology sector into high-growth companies. Therefore, high-value services will be provided: financing access, continuous monitoring by experts and mentors in the sector, specialised training, visibility and networking for a period of 6 months.

Healthstart is a programme of the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d (Knowledge Foundation) that aims to boost the creation of technology startups in the healthcare sector, focussing on hospitals in the ITEMAS network, research centres and universities in the Region of Madrid.

Healthstart creates multidisciplinary teams of healthcare experts, entrepreneurs, technology specialists and managers with the aim of bringing the areas of research and business closer together.

The ESA BIC Comunidad de Madrid (ESA BIC Region of Madrid) is the Business Incubation Centre of the European Space Agency (ESA) and of said Region. It is coordinated by Fundación madri+d, which facilitates incentives for business projects and startups that use space technology or that develop applications based on such technology.

Since 2004, the ESA's Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) –launched by ESA's Technology Transfer Programme Office (TTPO)– has given technical and business development support to new European companies.

The ESA BIC Comunidad de Madrid is co-financed, 50% by the ESA and XNUMX% by the Region of Madrid, through the Ministry of the Economy, Employment and Housing. Financing from the ESA has been guaranteed through its Spanish office, formed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, through its Secretariat General for Industry and SMEs, and by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).

Having a business project or a startup, which has spent less than five years in operation, that uses space technology or that develops applications based on these technologies to create new products and services not related to space.

Having the company's registered office in the Region of Madrid, in one of the four locations of the ESA BIC Comunidad de Madrid, no later than six months after joining the programme. Locations Centro de Empresas de Montegancedo (UPM) (Montegancedo Business Centre), Vivero de Empresas de Leganés Tecnológico (UC6M) (Leganés Technology Business Incubator), Parque Científico de Madrid (PCM) (Madrid Science Park) and Vivero de empresas de Móstoles (URJC) (Móstoles Business Incubator).
