Registration of contracts
The employment contracts must be communicated by the company to the Public Employment Services, whether or not they have the duty to be formalized in writing, by presenting said contract and its basic copy.
Term: maximum of 10 business days following its agreement.
Companies are obliged to communicate employment contracts through the Contrat@ application.
Electronic registration: Contrat@
Contrat@ is a web service that allows employers to communicate the content of their employees' employment contracts over the Internet.
It is an easy-to-use application that can be used by the contracting company, or by a representative company authorized to work on behalf of third parties.
To access the Contrat@ application, it is necessary to request authorization from the General Directorate of the Public Employment Service of the Community of Madrid, by submitting the application electronically.
La Authorization request it is found in the application itself, and must be submitted electronically together with the documentation indicated,
The Contrat@ system incorporates the latest updates of the Order ESS/1727/2013 of September 17, by which, among other novelties, the Points of Advice and Start of Processing (PAIT) and the Single Business Windows (VUE) will be allowed to access the authorization, being able to subsequently carry out contract communications on behalf of third parties, thus streamlining administrative procedures.
From now on, both PAIT and VUE, prior to the communication of the employment contract, may request administrative authorization, for those who are processing the Single Electronic Document. Once granted, they will be able to communicate the contracts and copies at any time, without travel costs to the Employment Offices or time limitations for face-to-face processing (Monday to Friday from 9.00:10 a.m. to 30:XNUMX a.m.).
For more information on the Contrat@ application, access the website of the State Public Employment Service
Once the authorization has been granted, you can access the service in two ways:
Offer of insufficient candidates
For the hiring of non-EU non-resident foreigners in Spain (temporary residence and work permits) one of the following situations must occur:
- That the contracting is carried out with difficult-to-cover qualified occupation.
- That insufficiency of candidates be proven, through the presentation of a job offer in the Public Service of the Community of Madrid and in the Empléate Portal, to certify that there are no registered applicants available for the job, after processing and publishing the offer.
Requests for insufficiency offers should be addressed to the mail offers.officenaseleccion@madrid.org. Requirements of the job offer that are not essential for the position will not be accepted and a certificate will not be issued if there are registered candidates available.
