
Admission to Adult Education Centers (CEPA)
Information on the procedure and documentation for the admission of students
People who as of December 31, 2023 are eighteen or older may enroll.
According to article 67.1 of the LOE, in addition to adults, exceptionally, they will be able to take the education for adults over sixteen years old:
- request it and have an employment contract that does not allow them to attend educational centers in the ordinary regime (They must prove this situation by providing the Social Security registration, as well as the corresponding employment contract).
- The high-level or high-performance athletes (the accreditation of this circumstance will be carried out by the Higher Sports Council or the Autonomous Community, as appropriate, in accordance with Royal Decree 971/2007, of July 13, on high-level and high-performance athletes (BOE of July 25 ). High-level or high-performance athlete students will have priority in schooling.
- in those who attend Circumstances that prevent them from going to ordinary educational centers and that they are duly accredited and regulated.
- those whothat they are complying with a judicial measure in a Center for the execution of judicial measures, as indicated in Article 3 c) of Order 1255/2017, of April 21.
CEPA - Enrollment in Adult Education Centers
Ordinary Process - Application deadlines in CEPA (2023-2024)
APPLICATIONS, submission deadline:
- From June 19 to 30:
- Students already enrolled in a CEPA, with a place reservation, who will continue in the same teaching program during the 2023/2024 academic year, presenting Annex Ia and Annex Ib
- First deadline for new students who want to join (without seat reservation). Those interested in accessing the courses taught at the center may apply for a place, except those related to personal development and participation. Application for admission (Annex I.) together with the supporting documentation of regulated studies carried out.
- 1 16 from September to:
- Students already enrolled in a CEPA, with place reservation (Annex Ia and Annex Ib).
- Second deadline for new students who want to join (without reservation of place): application for admission (Annex I) and supporting documentation of regulated studies.
- Deadlines:
- From September 1 to 7: application deadline for admission and enrollment.
- September 8: publication of provisional lists of admitted and excluded.
- 11 and September 12: deadline for submitting claims to the provisional lists of admitted and excluded.
- September 13: publication of the definitive lists of admitted and excluded
- 14 and September 15: registration. (If there were no complaints, enrollment could begin on September 13).
- September, 18th: start of teaching activities.
Incorporation after the ordinary process of students in CEPA
1 -Given the characteristics of the CEPA students, registration and enrollment may continue throughout the school year, as long as there is the possibility of meeting the demand.
2- Except in Level II of Compulsory Secondary Education for adults, enrollment It can only be done until the last school day of November 2023.
3- Regarding the incorporation of students to the teachings to obtain the title of Graduated in Compulsory Secondary Education by adults, it will proceed ONLY in one of the following ways:
- Incorporation through academic documentation. Those people who present academic documentation accrediting regulated studies made previously, will be incorporated into the corresponding level. Said incorporation must appear in their academic record, (they do not have to take the initial assessment test).
- Incorporation through initial assessment test. (VIA). On the other hand, ascription to a certain level of those who do NOT provide academic documentation accrediting regulated studies, will be determined, prior to enrollment, through an initial assessment test. The results of the initial assessment of the student will be recorded in their academic record.
-The simultaneous or successive application of the two previous sections to the same student is not possible, as they are mutually exclusive. Once one or another incorporation procedure has been applied, the resulting registration is already firm.
Submission of academic documentation after the enrollment process
- If after the incorporation and enrollment of a student, he/she provides academic documentation of regulated studies that could lead to a change in level, CEPA must request a change in the student's enrollment by means of a request addressed to the corresponding Territorial Area Directorate.
- Once the report of the Educational Inspection Service has been obtained by the Director of the Territorial Area, he will forward the file to the General Directorate of Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Special Regime, for the appropriate resolution.
Enrollment application forms at CEPA
For the academic year of 2023-2024 and in general, the admission application forms, except where it is technically impossible to do so, may be completed and delivered electronically through the Virtual Secretariat (SV).
In those cases in which the applicant cannot submit the application for admission electronically, they may do so in person, on paper.

They are of a general nature and common sense:
1- Choose a CEPA center according to academic criteria (that the teaching that we want to carry out be imparted) personal criteria (proximity to home, work, good communication, etc.).
2- Inform yourself in the secretary of the center about the deadlines, procedures and documents to present. It is very convenient to have the following documentation ready:
- Photocopy of the DNI, Residence Card (NIE) or Passport.
- 2 recent passport size photographs.
- Photocopy of the latest academic documentation accrediting the studies carried out: school book, academic history, qualifications, etc.
- Unemployment certificate (if applicable).
- Relevant socioeconomic circumstances justified by the competent body.
- Another relevant circumstance appreciated and justified by the Center Council according to public and objective criteria.
- Minors:
- Employment contract (under 18 and over 16 years).
- Documentation accrediting a high-level athlete or sports performance.
- Authorization of the father/mother/guardian.
3- Access to the lists of adult centers (CEPA) according to:
- Training offer by Territorial Areas.
- Addresses and contact telephone numbers: General consultation of educational centers.

Other Teachings (Information)
other teachings
Some teachings developed by the CEPA have particular characteristics that must be taken into account when registering:
1- Access Course to Higher Level Training Cycles. The authorized CEPAs prepare the general part and some centers the corresponding subjects with some of the specific options.
2- Basic professional training. It is subject to a scoring process based on the established criteria (Annex 2).
3- Operational workshops for students with disabilities. Students must have a disability recognized by the competent bodies.
4- Teachings for personal development. Your registration and registration is conditioned to the end of the general registration of the students. After it, a period opens to carry it out.
5- Mentor Classroom. This teaching is done from home or by attending an authorized center, registration can be completed throughout the school year.
