(*) NOTE:
(1) To check the status of the application, you must enter the NIF and the application code that appears in the email received. You can also consult this code in your submitted application form (where to find it).
(2) Possible Scholarship Statuses:
- Definitively awarded: the scholarship money will be paid into the current account provided in the application, without the scholarship recipient having to do any additional paperwork.
- Definitively excluded: those who are excluded from the call, for the reasons determined in each case.
- Definitive substitute: those applicants who, fulfilling the requirements of the call, have not obtained an economic endowment because the available budget credit has been exhausted.
(3) Scholarship cut-off marks:
The applications accepted for processing are arranged according to what is included in the Art.16 of the regulatory bases and they are granted following that order until the number of available scholarships is exhausted, leaving the rest of the applications with correct documentation in the status of "substitutes".
The 22-23 Excellence scholarships have been awarded with a grade equal to or higher than those expressed in this document.

Steps to follow to apply for the scholarship
- Fill out the online application, within the established period. This application model will be mandatory. Before generating the application document, check that all the data is correct. Together with the application, Annex I or Annex II will be generated, if necessary.
- Print and sign the PDF that is generated (it must be signed by the scholarship applicant, regardless of whether or not they are of legal age).
- WITH THE APPLICATION, attach the requested documentation:
- Document proving ownership of the current account.
- DNI (You can authorize your consultation in the application itself and thus not have to present it).
- Authorization representative (only in the event that another person SIGNS THE APPLICATION on your behalf).

- ...if you are a beginner student with a Baccalaureate degree + EvAU: Definitive certificate of EvAU grades, issued by the university where you passed the test and where the grades of the same and the average grade of Baccalaureate are stated.
- ...if you are a beginner student with a Higher Level Vocational Training degree: Final certificate of the qualifications of the optional phase of the EvAU, issued by the university where you passed the test and Annex I duly completed, signed and stamped by your VT center (or with an electronic signature, with a Secure Verification Code) .
- ...if you are a student already enrolled in university or higher artistic education: Annex II (generated when completing the application) duly completed, signed and stamped by your faculty or school.
- If you have digital certificate, you can sign the application and submit it online, along with the rest of the documentation. If you do not have a digital certificate, you can submit the application and documents in a Official register. In this case, do not forget to request appointment (in your name, or that of the person who takes the documentation to the registry. If you have signed the application and another person takes it to the registry, the authorization of a representative is not necessary). Finally, you can also submit it by mail. (*)

After applying for the scholarship
- After reviewing all the applications, a link will be published in this same space on the web where you can check the status of your application (PROVISIONAL LISTINGS). You must be aware of its publication, we advise you to add this website to your browser's favorites.
- If your application is PROVISIONALLY ADMITTED on that list, it means that you submitted the documentation correctly and on time. From that moment, your application is under study and you will have to wait for the final decision on the scholarship to find out if it is granted or if you become a substitute.
- If your application is PROVISIONALLY EXCLUDED, it means that it contains errors or defects that must be corrected and you must provide what is requested within the indicated correction period.
- After completing the correction period, all the contributions you have made will be reviewed and attached to your files.
- Once the process is finished, the FINAL LISTS will be published; The link will be enabled again so that you can check, in this case, if you have obtained the scholarship or not.
- The payment will be made to the account that you stated in the application, so it is very important that you keep it active throughout this process.
Object and requirements of the applicants
Object
The purpose of these scholarships is to facilitate the development of university studies and higher artistic education for students with excellent academic achievement, for which purpose the beneficiaries may freely allocate the funds granted to pay for their own maintenance.
Applicant requirements
Students who, meeting the requirements established in the regulatory bases, are enrolled in official education at a university in the Community of Madrid or in a center attached to it, and whose headquarters are in the Community of Madrid, may be beneficiaries. or in a higher artistic education center in the Community of Madrid during the academic year referred to in this call.
In the case of students who participate in mobility programs, only those whose university, affiliated university center or higher center of artistic education of origin is one of those contemplated in the previous paragraph may be beneficiaries.
Extraordinary
Order no. 2911/2022, of the Minister of Education, Universities, Science and Government Spokesperson, approving the call for Scholarships of Excellence, corresponding to the 2022-2023 academic year, to study at universities and higher centers of artistic education in the Community of Madrid .
Order no. 2069/2016, of June 23, of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, which approves the regulatory bases of Excellence Scholarships to study at universities and higher artistic education centers of the Community of Madrid.
The amount of the scholarships will be 2.100 euros, which will be paid in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory bases.
A total of 3.215 scholarships are announced, of which 1.125 are for new students and 2.090 for students already enrolled in university or higher artistic education.
Of the 1.125 scholarships for new students, 5 scholarships are reserved for students who access higher artistic education. Of the 2.090 scholarships for students already enrolled, 5 scholarships are reserved for students enrolled in higher artistic education.
Applications admitted for processing will be ordered as stated in the Art.16 of the regulatory bases and they will be granted following that order until the number of available scholarships is exhausted, leaving the rest of the applications with correct documentation in the status of "substitutes".
For guidance, you can consult the cut-off marks for the Scholarship of Excellence for the past academic year 2021-22, which were finally established for each group. The scholarships were awarded with a grade equal to or higher than those expressed in this document.
The minimum grade point average required to apply for scholarships will be as follows:
- New students at the university: 12,800 points. (*)
- Students who access higher artistic education centers according to the procedure described in article 7.2, sections a) and b): 12,00 points, calculated according to the formulas established in said sections.
- Students already enrolled in university and higher artistic education:
- Short-cycle and long-cycle technical studies, and degree studies attached to the Engineering and Architecture branch of knowledge: 8,15
- Medicine studies, double degrees and simultaneity of studies: 8,65
- Other degrees: 9,15 points.
- Higher artistic education: 8,50 points.
The above scores must have been obtained in ordinary call.
Likewise, students already enrolled in university education or in higher artistic education must have passed all the credits or subjects in which they have enrolled in said first ordinary call.
Newly admitted students at the university who opt for the scholarship of excellence must have taken the university access test or evaluation at one of the public universities in the territorial area of the Community of Madrid.
(*) Clarification on the calculation of grade ONLY FOR STUDENTS FROM EvAU:
For the purposes of the Excellence Scholarship, the calculation of the mark will be made according to the formula expressed in the Article 7 a) of the regulatory bases, where M1 and M2 will be weighted by the coefficient 0.2, in any case. The subjects subject to this weighting will be solely and exclusively those that the student would have taken in the OPTIONAL PHASE (voluntary) of the EvAU, NOT BEING WEIGHTED IN ANY CASE for the purposes of this scholarship any of the subjects taken in the MANDATORY BLOCK.
- Students enrolled in any of the following teachings may benefit from these grants:
- University education adapted to the European Higher Education Area leading to official graduate degrees.
- Higher artistic education adapted to the European Higher Education Area, leading to the higher title of artistic education.
- University education leading to the official titles of Bachelor, Engineer, Architect, Diploma, Master, Technical Engineer and Technical Architect.
- The scope of application of this Order expressly excludes grants for studies corresponding to the third cycle, postgraduate or doctorate, master's studies, specialization or titles of universities or higher centers of artistic education.
- The scholarship may be obtained only once for the turn of new students at the university or at higher centers of higher artistic education, unless the beneficiary, once granted, had made an express resignation with a refund of the amount received.
- Graduated students, or who are in a position to obtain the degree, in official university education or higher artistic education are excluded.
- You can only be a beneficiary of the scholarship for a single shift and group.

Presentation of applications and/or documentation
Face-to-face presentation
Print and sign the document generated, accompanying it with the documentation required in your case (article 7 of the regulatory bases).
► IMPORTANT: For its face-to-face delivery in a registry, it will be MANDATORY to request an appointment.
Deliver the documentation at any Registry Office of the Community of Madrid or in one of the Records adhered to the corresponding agreement.
NOTE: DOCUMENTS CANNOT BE DELIVERED AT THE UNIVERSITY ADVICE AND INFORMATION CENTER LOCATED AT C/ ALCALÁ 32, SINCE IT IS NOT A REGISTRY OFFICE.
postal delivery
In the case of postal delivery, the application and attached documentation must be submitted in an open envelope, so that the name of the office and the date, place, and time are clearly stated on the header of the first page of the application. and minute of admission, in accordance with the provisions of art. 31 of Royal Decree 1829/1999, of December 3, which approves the Regulation that regulates the Provision of Postal Services.

Telematic presentation
- In the event of submission by electronic means, it will be necessary to have one of the recognized or qualified Electronic Certificates of electronic signature that are operational in the Community of Madrid and issued by providers included in the "Trusted list of certification service providers" established in Spain. Once the application has been completed, it will be sent through the Telematic Registry of the Ministry responsible for universities and higher artistic education, together with the rest of the required documentation. Documentation in digital format must meet the following requirements:
- Come from the original document and have sufficient quality to allow it to be viewed correctly.
- The format of the documentation files as well as their maximum size must comply with what is established, for these purposes, on the institutional website of the Community of Madrid.
- The applicant must keep the original documents, which may be required by the examining body or any of those provided for in article 23 of these regulatory bases.
