Díaz Ayuso announces the incorporation of WhatsApp to inform Madrid residents of job and training offers who authorize it
The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has announced today that, as a novelty to reinforce communication channels with citizens, the regional government is working so that job seekers who authorize it can receive job offers and courses training through whatsapp, as is already done by SMS on their mobiles.
This was stated by the head of the Madrid Executive during the inauguration of the Rivas Vaciamadrid employment office, located at number 9 Marie Curie street, which has more than 1.000 square meters and where 10.000 people are expected to be served each year, as well as all the companies in the area.
This new measure is one more tool that is added to the Modernization Plan that is being carried out by the Community of Madrid to provide employment services with more extensive and updated spaces, centered on the person, facilitating orientation, training and connection with the real needs of companies for their labor insertion.
During this 2023, thanks to the intermediation work carried out by the regional Public Employment Service, 192.677 people have obtained a job, which represents 39,1% of all hiring. This insertion rate is 14 points above that achieved in 2019 (25,75%).
Children's space in Rivas Vaciamadrid
With 24 service posts and four different places, the Rivas facilities have a personalized attention room equipped with a children's area for those citizens who have to attend with children. Currently, this headquarters has close to 4.000 users who are offered intermediation services such as guidance, workshops and training in professional certificates.
To improve their employability, individual positions have been set up in which to create an environment of greater trust between the job counselor and the citizen. In this way, a diagnosis of each person is made, based on their professional profile, in order to work on aspects such as the curriculum vitae or preparing for a job interview. In addition, training pills are carried out using new technologies to find out the weaknesses and strengths of each user in key aspects when it comes to finding a job.
Likewise, and to reinforce the attention to applicants with hearing disabilities, this new premises has a magnetic loop sound system, already being implemented in other offices, which allows them to receive clean sound in their hearing aids, with the adequate volume and perfectly intelligible.
