Pilar Miró Cultural Center
The Pilar Miró Cultural Center opened its doors on October 26, 2005 as a space that offers a varied program.
It has a theater with a capacity of 194 seats, which is part of the Network of Theaters of the Community of Madrid. Its spaces are open to professional companies that wish to do artistic and technical residencies in theater, music and dance. In addition, it has four rehearsal rooms with amplifiers and drums for music groups, which are freely available.
At the Pilar Miró theater, clown, tai chi, ceramics, belly dance, painting and plastic arts, drawing and painting and magic workshops can be held. Various activities are also offered in collaboration with neighborhood and cultural associations.
There are three spaces set up to house exhibitions, a cyberspace with free internet access, where various digital literacy workshops are held, and a cafeteria.
