How to represent for authorization procedures and transport authorizations

Sign up as a representative

The agency, consultancy, professional or association that is going to act as your representative must first register as a company representative before this Directorate General.

To request to be registered as a company representative, you must send the following information to the email transports.dgt@madrid.org, subject of the email: Application for registration as a representative.

If the applicant is professional, association or advisor:

• NIF card.
• Census Declaration.
• Statutes of the company / company (if applicable).

If the applicant is a administrative manager:

• Collegiate record in which your Collegiate number is stated.

With this information you will be registered as a representative. If you are already registered or we have confirmed your registration, go to the next point.

This procedure does not entail any fee.

Start the representation file

Once registered as a representative, it must start a representation file of company in the Electronic Office of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Management of internal transport authorizations. In the file you will have to attach:

• Power of representation of a company.
• Photocopy of the DNI of the Principal in case it is done through a physical signature.

The power of attorney must prove the true identity and will of the principal, for which you must meet at least one of these requirements:

• Digital signature through digital certificate issued by any recognized certification service entity.

• certificate of power in force in the Electronic Registry of Powers of Attorney (REA).
• Power of attorney.

will not be valid simple signatures, photocopies or scanned signature documents that are not electronically verifiable, nor the bank signature acknowledgment.

Representation may be for the period requested, for a maximum of 5 years, which will not be automatically renewable, but must be expressly requested for this.

You can request your digital tachograph card through a representative – person, administrative agency, consultancy... −

To do this, you must first request to be represented by email authorizations.dgt@madrid.org attaching a document through which you authorize your representative to carry out the procedures related to the digital tachograph card on your behalf. This request for representation does not entail any fee.

Once he appears as a representative, he will be able to initiate files in your name, processing the requests electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
