History of actions in public transport infrastructures

The Metropolitan railway is one of the most efficient modes of transport, respectful of the environment, and the backbone of the urban fabric, and since its origins back in 1919 it has been the mobility option most used by the people of Madrid.

 This means of transport allows a perfect integration with the urban environment and optimal coexistence with vehicles and pedestrians. Its design is designed for proximity to the user and its adaptation to it.

With the braking, the Light Rail returns electrical energy to its network to be able to reuse it. This allows a saving of 30%. The tracks are covered with a rubber material that reduces the emission of noise and vibrations.
