Madrid Committee of Road Transport

The Madrid Road Transport Committee (CMTC) is a corporate entity made up of associations of carriers and companies involved in auxiliary and complementary activities of road transport with the greatest representation in the Community of Madrid.

The main function of the CMTC is the permanent collaboration with the Public Administration in everything that is of interest or that may affect the sector, through the issuance of mandatory and non-binding reports, on regulatory projects, tariffs, joint provision areas, stations of buses, training centers, inspection plans, strategic plans, and participation in the preparation of regulatory provisions on transport and other actions that affect the sector.

It is made up of two departments, passenger transport and freight transport, structured in sections and these, in some cases, in subsections.

The level of representation assigned to each professional association will be reviewed every four years and, to this end, the General Directorate of Transport and Mobility will make the corresponding call by publishing it in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid, so that those who are interested to form part of it submit the required documentation within the period set for that purpose in said publication
