The Family Support and Meeting Centers of the Community of Madrid (CAEF) offer care to each and every one of the family members through various specialized services that are free, personalized and confidential. They are cared for by multidisciplinary teams made up of psychologists, lawyers, social workers and educators with training and experience in working with families.
The CAEF of the Community of Madrid aim to help families to improve communication or dialogue, as well as conflicts that may arise on a daily basis. It offers confidential and personalized attention by qualified professionals. It is addressed to each and every member of the family. Access is direct by telephone appointment.
Who can benefit?
There are families that go through processes of rupture or conflict, where they need a neutral and safe professional environment for some time, which facilitates the adoption of actions that improve relations between its different members and that serve to reestablish optimal coexistence.
Faced with all these situations, the Support and Family Meeting Centers offer personalized and confidential services to families in the Community of Madrid.
This resource is addressed to each and every one of the members that make up the family unit. Access is by appointment.
What services do CAEFs provide?
Psychological support service for families in order to prevent and respond to specific problems or crises of all or some of its members.
Formed by a group of professionals, it offers guidance so that families develop skills that allow them to overcome the difficulties of coexistence, communication, school problems, family relationships, etc.
It is a voluntary way of resolving family tensions or conflicts with the intervention of a mediator who helps the family to dialogue and reach their own consensual agreements.
The purpose of mediation is to prevent, minimize or resolve family conflicts, such as relationship problems between family members -especially between parents and adolescent children-, disagreements arising from the breakup, separation or divorce of the couple , difficulties caused by caring for elderly or disabled relatives, disagreements due to inheritance or family business or other family conflicts.
It provides a neutral place and the support of qualified professionals to promote the right of children to maintain relationships with relatives with whom they do not live in cases of conflictive breakdown of family life.
This service is accessed exclusively by judicial or administrative resolution.
Information, legal advice and legal guidance on issues that may arise in the context of family life, such as separations, divorces, violence and any issue related to family law.
This legal advice is offered exclusively in matters of family civil law. In no case is the defense and representation carried out before the courts and tribunals of any jurisdiction.
A space for dialogue and training for families who wish to acquire tools that help improve communication and relationships, coexistence with adolescent children, conflict resolution, emotional knowledge and handling of feelings, etc. The workshops are given by psychologists, teachers and experts in different areas such as emotional intelligence, family financial training, grief, evolutionary psychology, etc.

If you wish to make an appointment at any of the services provided at the Family Support and Meeting Centers of the Community of Madrid, you can do so by telephone or by going to the Madrid, Alcorcón or Majadahonda Centers from 10:30 a.m. to 20:30 p.m. hours from Monday to Friday.
