Search in the Virtual Library
Of special interest is the consultation of works from the Virtual Library of the Community of Madrid (BVCM), which are those that have a digital version in PDF, ZIP, ISO or EPUB electronic file formats. These works can be read or downloaded directly from their catalog file by clicking on Digital or, where appropriate, ePub. They are located by activating the box Transformation when performing the search.
PublicaMadrid contains a semantic search engine, in which it is not necessary to indicate the exact term searched for, since it allows the results to be classified by significant categories (subjects, labels, digital, availability, supports, collections, authors, organizations, type of fund, year of publication... ), and refine the search. It also offers word suggestion functionality.
Each publication has in its catalog file a series of descriptive fields that facilitate searches and that in some cases are also hyperlinks: reference, title, Author, promoter/co-editor, collection, support, format, year of publication, ISBN, ISSN, legal deposit, pages, type of fund, distribution, extract, origin promoter, metadata, in addition to the image of the cover or cover and, usually, the link Transformation to the version in the Virtual Library.

It includes all the essential technical rules, for the sake of normalizing the reproduction and use of identifying languages at basic levels of the Government of the Community of Madrid, as well as all their possible applications at the different levels of communication.
Sales, 75 years of history
It collects the history of the events experienced in the Las Ventas Bullring in written form, which is accompanied by an important photographic representation that allows the reader to visualize the history of the bullring in images, throughout its 75 years of existence. .

The collections represent the editorial lines in which the publications are classified: each title is attached to one. In the catalog file it appears as a hyperlink that allows you to consult all the titles published in said collection.

Distribution of publications
The distribution of publications is done through:
- digital broadcasting, in the Virtual Library by PublicaMadrid
- Distribution of physical copies, if available, by institutional distribution, if they are free works, or commercial distribution y sale, if they have a retail price. The direct sales point of the Community of Madrid is the Institutional Bookstore.
The works of institutional distribution, not venal or Returns, are titles that are distributed free of charge, either through digital broadcasting in the Virtual Library, or by means of dissemination on physical support, upon duly justified request by the interested party to the publishing body.
