What is Rural Development?
It is the second pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union. Its objectives are developed through the Rural Development Programs (PDR) of the different Autonomous Communities approved every 7 years.
Rural Development pursues a more competitive agricultural activity that is more respectful of the environment. Also improving the quality of life and economic diversification of rural areas, as well as promoting their governance (LEADER).
