What is the Administration of Justice?
The Administration of Justice consists of the jurisdictional function of judging and executing what has been judged and is the responsibility of the Judiciary. It is made up of a group of people and institutions, whose mission is to ensure that citizens see their fundamental right to obtain effective judicial protection satisfied.


What is the Public Prosecutor's Office?
El Fiscal is that public authority in charge of the exercise of the action of justice in criminal proceedings, also intervening in other types of judicial procedures in defense of legality and public interest.

The Public Prosecutor's Office is integrated with functional autonomy and with its own legal personality in the Judiciary. It exercises its mission through its own bodies, in accordance with the principles of Unit of Action and Hierarchical Dependence and subject to those of Legality and Impartiality.
El Statute of the Public Prosecutor is set to the Law 50/1981, of December 30, regulating the Organic Statute of the Public Prosecutor's Office. Through the modification of said rule by the Law 24/2007, of October 9, its structure was reinforced following criteria of specialization and reorganization in terms of its geographical location.

Jurisprudence is the set of sentences issued by the Courts and Tribunals, and the specific doctrine or criteria that they establish.
As established in article 560.1.10 of the Organic Law of the Judiciary, the General Council of the Judiciary is responsible for “the official publication of the judgments and other resolutions determined by the Supreme Court and the rest of the judicial bodies”. This work is carried out specifically through the Center for Judicial Documentation (CENDOJ), which is the technical body of the Council that deals with the official publication of jurisprudence, as well as other powers in the field of documentation and services knowledge management.
