Register of professional associations of self-employed workers

Non-profit professional associations of self-employed workers who, in accordance with their statutes, carry out their activity mainly in the territory of the Community of Madrid may register in the Registry. and are previously registered in the Registry of Associations of the Community of Madrid.

• It will be understood that the professional associations of self-employed workers carry out their activity mainly in the Community of Madrid when more than 50% of their members are domiciled there.
• Professional associations of self-employed workers of the Community of Madrid will be considered to be those associations that group together the natural persons included in article 1 of the Law 20/2007, of July 11, on the Statute of Self-Employment, and have the purpose of defending the professional interests of their associates and complementary functions to it.

Federations, confederations or unions of professional associations of self-employed workers included in their scope that meet the same requirements described for the associations mentioned in the first paragraph may also register.

1st. La registration request in the Registry it will be presented, by the representative of the entity, or person authorized for that purpose, through the corresponding form, accessible on this same page. 

Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Registry of the Community of Madrid, under the provisions of the Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations.

2st. The next documents will be added to the request:

a) Tax identification number of the entity (NIF).
b) Certificate issued by the Registry of Associations of the Community of Madrid in which your registration is recorded.
c) Founding Act of the association, which must contain the documentation referred to in article 6.1 of the Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, regulating the right of association, or, where appropriate, certificate of registration in the aforementioned Registration of Associations, with a certified copy of the current statutes and accreditation of the entity's representation.

As for the federations, confederations and unions, a certificate of the agreement of the competent body of the founding associations must be attached, from which the will to establish the corresponding entity and the designation of the natural person who represents them is deduced.

3st. After submitting the application, the Registry will qualify the act whose registration is requested, after verifying its legal adequacy and compliance with the requirements of the applicable regulations, through the corresponding resolution, and will order its registration on the corresponding registration sheet.

The maximum term to resolve and notify will be three months counting from when the request has been entered in the aforementioned Telematic Registry.

If the request, or the documents attached to it, do not meet the required requirements, the interested parties will be required to correct it within the period of ten business days. If you do not do it in a timely manner, your request will be considered withdrawn, after a resolution issued to that effect, proceeding to file the proceedings.
