Oppositions to the Corps of Teachers 2022

Through Decree 5/2022, of February 16, of the Governing Council, the Public Employment Offer for non-university teaching staff of the Community of Madrid for the year 2022 has been approved. As a consequence of this, the General Directorate of Human Resources of The Ministry of Education, Universities, Science and Spokesperson, has considered it appropriate to modify the Call for Oppositions to the Teachers Corps published on February 4, 2022, to include in it the positions of the teachers' corps that have been approved by means of the aforementioned Decree.

With this extension, the places finally offered amount to 2.737.

The places to the body of Teachers are divided into 8 specialties, with 7% of the total places for participants who have the legal status of people with disabilities. The entry system is contest-opposition, with the opposition phase consisting of two eliminatory tests. In the contest phase, the merits will be assessed, and in the internship phase, the aptitude for teaching of the selected applicants will be verified, having an eliminatory character. Once the entire process has been completed, those selected will be appointed career officials.

The number of places is increased by the Resolution of February 22, 2022.

Oppositions to the Teaching Corps of Secondary Education and RE 2023

The places called are expanded by 977. Total places called: 2.761 (March 1, 2021).

Selective procedures are convened for entry and access to the Corps of Secondary Education Teachers, Teachers of Official Language Schools, Teachers of Music and Performing Arts, Teachers of Plastic Arts and Design and Teachers of Plastic Arts and Design Workshop and procedure for the acquisition of new specialties by officials of the aforementioned Corps.

The start of the opposition phase will be in 2023, coinciding with the rest of the Autonomous Communities. The opening of the period for submitting applications will be announced by resolution of this General Directorate of Human Resources.

Oppositions to the body of professors of Music and Performing Arts 2019

The call for 6 places for admission to the Body of Professors of Music and Performing Arts has been published in the BOCM of May 2019, 49. Of these places, 3 correspond to the disability reserve.

The places to the body of Music and Performing Arts are divided into 31 specialties, with the admission system being the contest-opposition. The opposition phase consists of two eliminatory tests that account for 60% of the final grade. In the contest phase, merits will be assessed, accounting for 40% of the final grade. Once the entire process has been completed, those selected will be appointed career officials.

Opposition information

The admission system in public education is competitive. The opposition phase assesses general and specific knowledge of each specialty, pedagogical aptitude and mastery of techniques for teaching. In the contest phase, the work carried out, the training and the academic merits will be valued. The internship phase will last six months of active service and will be eliminatory, after which those selected will be appointed career civil servants.

Corps of Teachers:

Master's degree or corresponding Bachelor's degree.

Diploma in Basic General Education Teachers.

Title of Primary Education Teacher.

Body of Secondary Education Teachers, Official Schools of Languages, Music and Performing Arts and Plastic Arts and Design,

a) Be in possession or able to obtain the title of Doctor, Graduate, Engineer, Architect or the corresponding Bachelor's degree or other equivalent titles for teaching purposes.
b) Be in possession of the pedagogical and didactic training referred to in article 100.2 of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education. Except in specialties of Dramatic Art.

Body of Vocational Training Technical Teachers and Plastic Arts and Design Workshop Teachers.

a) Be in possession or able to obtain, at a minimum, the title of University Diploma, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer or the corresponding Bachelor's degree or other equivalent titles for teaching purposes.
b) Be in possession of the pedagogical and didactic training referred to in article 100.2 of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education,

Disabled people

Applicants who, in addition to meeting the general and specific entry requirements for the free entry procedure, are recognized by the competent bodies of the Autonomous Communities or, where appropriate, of the General State Administration, may participate in this procedure. a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 per 100, or having been declared in a situation of permanent disability to a total degree in a profession other than teaching, by means of a Resolution of the National Institute of Social Security, provided that they have the functional capacity, not only referred to the exercise of teaching at a general level, but in relation to the specialty chosen.

Phases of the selective procedure

Opposition phase

In this phase, the possession of the general knowledge necessary to practice teaching and the specific knowledge of the specialty to which one chooses, the pedagogical aptitude and the mastery of the techniques necessary for the teaching exercise, as well as the correction in the oral and written expression of the applicants.

The opposition phase consists of two tests, each of which is eliminatory.

contest phase

In this phase, the merits of the applicants are assessed, in the manner established by the call; which will include academic training and previous teaching experience.

The qualification of the contest phase will be applied only to the applicants who have passed the opposition phase.

Practice phase

The selected applicants will be appointed trainees. This phase includes a period of direct teaching that is part of the selection procedure and that aims to verify the aptitude for teaching of the selected applicants.

Candidates for internship

The participants in the selective procedures who are not selected and have marked the corresponding box in the application for participation, will become part of the lists of interim applicants.
