If you have professional experience or non-formal training related to a professional qualification and do not have an official accreditation, you can participate in a procedure for the evaluation and accreditation of said professional skills.
This procedure allows evaluate and accredit officially the skills you possess, regardless of how, where and when you acquired them.

PEAC: Procedure for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Professional Competences
The Procedures for Evaluation and Accreditation of Competences (PEAC), They are a set of actions aimed at recognizing, evaluating and accrediting the professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training channels, which allow those people who have demonstrable work experience or non-formal training directly related to professional training to obtain official accreditation. professional qualification that you wish to accredit.
The accreditation of the competency units acquired through this procedure allows complete the training leading to obtaining the corresponding professional training title or professional certificates.
Recipients of the procedure

People who have acquired professional skills by carrying out a work activity and do not have official accreditation.

People who have not finished their academic studies, have joined the world of work and have learned their profession by working.
Participation requirements
In general, the requirements for participation in these procedures are:

Being over 18 years old, for the competence units related to level 1 professional qualifications and 20 years old for those of levels 2 and 3.

Have Spanish nationality, citizenship of the European Union or valid residence or residence and work authorization in Spain.

Have more than two years of work experience, with a minimum of 1.200 hours worked, in the last 15 years or 200 hours of training in the last 10 years, related to the skills to be accredited in level 1 qualification. Or have 3 years of work experience, with a minimum of 2000 hours worked, in the last 15 years or 300 hours of training in the last 10 years for level 2 and 3 qualifications.
In cases in which the training modules associated with the unit of competence to be accredited contemplate a duration of less than 300 hours, the hours established in said modules must be accredited.
Procedure phases
The interested person must submit the registration application once the call has been published, providing supporting documentation of their professional and training history.
The admitted candidate will participate in a procedure that consists of three phases:
- Legal: Experts in the professional sector enabled for this function help the candidate to review his professional and training history and identify the skills acquired and those that may be missing. These advisors prepare a report on the advisability of moving on to the next phase or completing the training.
- : Experts in the professional sector qualified for this function assess the professional skills that the candidate wishes to accredit using various instruments and tests.
- Accreditation: The Administration issues an accreditation of the units of competence demonstrated. This accreditation is cumulative in order to apply for a certificate of professionalism or to obtain a professional training qualification.

How to request the Certificate of Professionalism at the end of the procedure
Candidates participating in the Evaluation and Accreditation Procedure for Competences professionals and manage to accredit one or several units of competence, obtain a certification issued by the Community of Madrid, which ACCREDITED their professional competence in the units of competence that apply in each case.
At the end of the procedure, the relevant evaluation commission will inform you of the complementary training that you have to take if you wish to continue with your training, in order to obtain the Vocational Training title or the Certificate of Professionalism.
Most of the qualifications are linked to official qualifications, either Vocational Training titles or Certificates of Professionalism, or both:
- Certificates of professionalism issued by the labor administration. If the official accreditation of all the Units of Competence contained in a Certificate of Professionalism is obtained, it will be possible to request the issuance of the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism. The labor administration will recognize the accredited Competence Units, which will have the effect of exempting the training modules according to current regulations.
- Vocational Training Titles A person who is recognized Uunits of Ccompetition through a CAPP, you will be able to validate the professional modules associated with them, according to current regulations, and which are established in each of the degrees, being able to complete a FP degree by studying only part of the professional modules of the training cycle.

Spanish nationality, community citizenship registration certificate or family card of a citizen of the European Union, or be the holder of a valid residence or residence and work authorization in Spain.

Be 18 years old at the time of registration, in the case of competence units corresponding to level 1 qualifications and 20 years old for levels 2 and 3.

Work experience and/or non-formal training related to the professional skills to be accredited:
- Work experience: Justify, at least, 3 years, with a minimum of 2000 hours worked in total, in the last 15 years elapsed before the presentation of the application. For Level I competency units, 2 years of work experience with a minimum of 1.200 total hours worked will be required.
- Non-formal training: Justify, at least 300 hours, in the last 10 years elapsed before the presentation of the request. For level I proficiency units, at least 200 hours will be required. In cases in which the training modules associated with the unit of competence to be accredited contemplate a shorter duration, the hours established in said modules must be accredited.

Be a resident in the Community of Madrid or a worker in a work center located in the Community of Madrid.
The submission period is indefinite.

Qualification of advisors and/or evaluators
To be an advisor and/or evaluator in the recognition procedures for professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training pathways, it is necessary to meet a series of requirements.
Requirements to be an advisor and/or evaluator in procedures for the recognition of professional skills
1.- People residing in the Community of Madrid or workers at work centers located in the Community of Madrid on the date the application is submitted, and who meet the following requirements:
to the Teaching staff belonging to the Professor Corpss, Secondary school teachers or Vocational training Technical Teachers who provide their services in the Community of Madrid, with teaching assignment in the corresponding professional family, who prove, at least, four years of teaching experience imparting professional modules associated with professional qualifications of said family.
b) The vocational training trainers, which accredit a teaching experience of at least four years teaching training modules associated with professional qualifications whose units of competence are subject to accreditation.
Previous professionals defined in sections a) and b) when they have at least two years of teaching experience teaching professional or training modules associated with professional qualifications whose units of competence are subject to accreditation must prove at least two years of work experience in the productive sector and in professional qualifications whose units of competence are subject to accreditation
c) Professionals experts in the productive sector and in professional qualifications whose units of competence are subject to accreditation that demonstrate work experience in said sector of at least four years.
These professionals must also take and pass a specific training course organized by the Community of Madrid, based on the professional accreditation needs demanded and the current training offer in the region, on the date of submission of the application
d) People already qualified in the counseling or evaluation modality who wish to extend their qualification for a modality other than the one they have in all the competence units in which they are already qualified, or they wish to extend their qualification in other competence units. These people must accredit the requirements established in the previous sections according to the group to which they belong.
2.- People already authorized by the Community of Madrid in the counseling or evaluation modality who wish to extend their qualification to a modality other than the one they hold in all the competence units in which they are already qualified, or wish to extend their qualification in other competence units, they must accredit the requirements established according to the group to which they belong, except for residing or working in the Community of Madrid.
