The initial teachings of basic education for adults are intended to allow them to develop the basic skills necessary to access the teachings for obtaining the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education for adults, as well as the acquisition of basic knowledge instruments that enable their personal, social or work promotion.

The initial teachings are aimed at:

To people over eighteen years of age or who turn them in the year in which the school year begins.
Exceptionally, to those over sixteen years of age who request it and who have an employment contract that does not allow them to attend educational centers in the ordinary regime or who are high-level or high-performance athletes.
To the inmate population in penitentiary centers, who will have guaranteed access to these teachings.

These teachings are organized on two levels: Initial level I (1st and 2nd year) and Initial level II (1st and 2nd year), which can be developed in one or two academic years depending on the needs and characteristics of the student (Annex to ORDER 3219/2010, of June 8, BOCM of July 6).

A- BASIC EDUCATION OF ADULTS

The teachings for obtaining the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education for adults have the purpose of allowing them to acquire the basic skills, objectives and knowledge of this stage and obtain the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education and are directed to the same type of people as the Initial Teachings.

The teachings for obtaining the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education for adults may be taught in the face-to-face, semi-face-to-face and distance regimen. The students of these regimens will be considered official students for all purposes.

They are organized in two levels, level I and level II, each lasting thirty-five weeks during an academic year.

At each level, three areas will be studied: scientific-technological field, communication field and social field, made up of modules related to the subjects that constitute them.

People who present academic documentation accrediting regulated studies carried out previously will be incorporated at the corresponding level as established in Annex III of ORDER 1255/2017, of April 21 (BOCM of May 16).

The ascription to a certain level of each of the areas of knowledge of the people who do not provide accrediting academic documentation will be determined, both in the face-to-face regimen and remotely, prior to enrollment, through an initial assessment test of the students (VIA ).

Once the two levels that make up the teachings that lead to obtaining the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education have been passed, you will be able to access:

Medium-grade vocational training.
Intermediate cycles of plastic arts and design.
Intermediate sports education.
world of work

These teachings fall into two distinct categories that are identified below:

Technical-Professional Education: Access Course to Higher Level Training (general and specific phase).
Teachings for Personal Development and Participation: University Access Course for over 25s.

This offer is intended to ensure adults the possibility of acquiring. update and perfect their professional qualification in order to access the world of work, facilitate their professional promotion or access the higher level Vocational Training training cycles.

B- PREPARATION COURSES FOR ACCESS TO OTHER TEACHINGS	1- PREPARATION OF THE ACCESS TEST TO HIGHER LEVEL VOCATIONAL TRAINING

These lessons are aimed at students over the age of 17 who are not in possession of any Vocational Training title or any other title that accredits the completion of full secondary studies. And for those who have passed a General Modality or Special Modality Professional Program of those established by the Community of Madrid and have the indicated age requirement.

El preparatory course for Higher Level Training Cycles of those students who wish to access these studies and do not meet the academic access requirements.

The T'soccupational training workshops for adults are focused on the labor insertion of students and cover a wide variety of professional profiles. The operational workshops for students with disabilities are aimed at students formally recognized as such and carry out the studies at two basic levels.

La Digital Training, It is focused on digitally training the most vulnerable population so that they acquire the mechanisms to interact autonomously and independently with financial entities, administrations, organizations and other entities; as well as completing the educational and training system as an ordinary work instrument. These teachings are financed by the Next Generation Funds – Recovery and Resilience Mechanism of the European Union.

These teachings include courses that allow cultural updating to participate responsibly in today's society, acquiring the necessary elements for critical, constructive and creative action. The courses taught by the Adult Education Centers include:

Preparation course for Test of constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE). It is organized into two sections, which correspond to what is established in the laws for obtaining Spanish nationality.
Preparation course for University access (over 25 years old).

E- TEACHINGS FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PARTICIPATION	1- LANGUAGE

They are teachings aimed at the adult population that cannot attend class daily. They are of two types and are structured in this way:

Compulsory Secondary Education for Adults. It is aimed at the same type of student as the face-to-face regimen and over 18 years of age. The contents of this teaching are structured in the same way. It is carried out through the combination of face-to-face teaching hours and remote monitoring activities of the students carried out by the tutor.

With telematic support (Mentor Classrooms). It is an open and distance training in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports through telematic support, with various support materials and with more than 100 courses to choose from.

F- LESSONS WITH TELEMATIC SUPPORT	MENTOR COURSES (In collaboration with the MECD)

Adult Secondary Education

Secondary Education for adults in a blended mode is intended for those people who, for various reasons, cannot attend the center during the entire school period, combining face-to-face classes with virtual ones.
Our Face-to-face sessions, compulsory attendance, are 8 hours per week distributed as follows:

- Scope of Communication (3 hours).

- Scientific Technological Area (3 hours).

- Social Area (2 hours).

Our virtual sessions They are carried out through the Virtual Classroom and the contents of this teaching are structured in the same way as the rest of the regimens.
