All cycles include a phase of practical training in companies, studios or workshops.

To meet the academic requirement You need to be in possession of one of the following titles:
Access to intermediate grade cycles
- Graduate Certificate in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)
- Certificate of Plastic Arts and Design Technician
- Having passed, from the teachings of Applied Arts and Artistic Trades, the third year of common teachings of the 1963 curriculum or the second year of the experimental plan
- Title of Auxiliary Technician or Technician of Vocational Training teachings
- Having passed other studies declared equivalent for academic purposes with any of the above
- Meet any of the conditions for access to higher level training cycles.
Access to higher degree cycles
- Bachelor's Degree
- Title of Technician or Higher Technician of Plastic Arts and Design
- Graduate Degree in Applied Arts and Artistic Trades (1963 study plan or experimental plan)
- Vocational Training Technician Title
- Title of Specialist Technician or Superior Technician of Vocational Training teachings
- Having passed other studies declared equivalent for academic purposes with any of the above
- Being in possession of a university degree or equivalent
Access without academic requirement

Titles
- If you study an intermediate level training cycle, you obtain the title of Coach Plastic Arts and Design in the corresponding cycle.
- If you study a higher level training cycle, you obtain the title of Advanced technician in the corresponding cycle.
The degree obtained in these teachings has academic and professional validity throughout the national territory.
you can get the bachelor's degree in the form of Fine Arts if you have obtained the title of Technician in Plastic Arts and Design and have passed the common subjects of the Baccalaureate.
If you have passed the Baccalaureate in a modality other than Arts and you have also obtained the title of Technician in Plastic Arts and Design, you can obtain the Baccalaureate degree in the two modalities.
If you are in possession of the title of Technician in Plastic Arts and Design, you can enroll only in the common high school subjects.

Awards and aid
Every year, the Community of Madrid announces the Extraordinary Awards for Plastic Arts and Design.
They are intended for those students who have completed the teachings with an average grade equal to or greater than 8,75.
You can apply for the grants that the Community of Madrid announces annually to expand your studies in design, plastic arts, or restoration and conservation abroad, provided that you have completed professional education or higher education at a school, art or higher, of the Community of Madrid and meet the requirements of each call.
