Notices and news
About the Program
Madrid Sports Community Its objective is to offer all the necessary means to educational centers in the region to increase and improve the practice of physical activity among their students.
More than 1.600 centers and 115.000 schoolchildren, distributed throughout the Community, participate in the programs and competitions that it comprises.
It is structured in two phases:
- Disclosure: where the students participate in sessions on the different sports, explaining their fundamentals, which include theoretical and practical parts. All this adapted to the ages of the students. The activities are carried out in the Center itself, in natural spaces or in sports facilities, as required by the corresponding modality.

PROGRAM GUIDES
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a session?
One session of those included in the Guide corresponds to one class hour for the students.
Is the maximum number of participants per activity, in the center, 35?
In the activities carried out in the center the maximum number of students per session/class is 35. This does not mean that only 35 students can participate. Example:
Activity for 5th grade of primary two days in the center, center line three:
- First day they carry out the activity 5th A: 30 students, 5th B: 28 and 5th C: 32.
- Second day they carry out the activity: 5th A: 30 students, 5th B: 28 and 5th C: 32.
Activity for 5th grade of primary two days in the center, center line two:
-first day they carry out the activity 5th A: 30 students, 5th B: 28
- second day they carry out the activity: 5th A: 30 students, 5th B: 28
In this case, the session/class could last more than an hour, if the center adapts the schedule.
For the rest of the possibilities, the center and the federation must be organized, always maintaining the maximum of 35 participants.
Can more than 50 students participate in activities outside the center?
The activities outside the center are limited to 50 participants, this is due to the capacity of the transport, maximum 55 places, and due to the organization of the federations and their technicians.
If any center wants to have more places, it can do so by paying the activity at the price agreed with the federation. Transportation for these places will also be at the expense of the participants.
The usual thing in these cases is that the center prorates the price among the participants taking into account the subsidized activity and the one that is not.
Can Basic VET students participate in the program?
Basic VET students can participate in the program in activities that are aimed at students in the 3rd and 4th years of ESO and the 1st year of high school.
