Participants
We will have many athletes with and without disabilities from the Community of Madrid and others from the rest of Spain, some of them national and international medalists, who, under equal conditions, will try to achieve victory in one of the competitions included in the program of these games.
The Games and the Plan for the Promotion of Physical Activity and Inclusive Sport
These I Parainclusive Games represent the staging of the competition model included in the Plan for the Promotion of Physical Activity and Inclusive Sport of the Community of Madrid. In this, it is specified that the competition groups different inclusive, adapted and specific modalities. Below is an extract of the essential contents of the Plan:
Training actions
On the occasion of the celebration of the I Games Parainclusivos of the Community of Madrid, "Sanitas Foundation" Chair of Studies on Inclusive Sports (CEDI) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, will contribute their knowledge and experience in creating inclusive contexts so that these Games are a complete success and inclusion through sport is made visible.
This initiative will try to respond to the training needs of Madrid sports technicians, in terms of adapted and inclusive sport, as a tool for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
With the experience of the CEDI in inclusive sports since 2007, it will be trained based on the sports that make up the program of the I Parainclusive Games, providing knowledge from the research and training carried out in these years, having as a fundamental pillar the educational program “Inclusive Sport at School”, awarded this year by the Community of Madrid, which will serve as a training resource.
The design of the courses includes the different sports from a practical and experiential perspective, based on the knowledge and experiences of the sports technicians or physical education teachers who attend.
I support this initiative

But other Paralympic athletes such as Daniel Caverzachi, roller tennis player from Madrid, viqui perez, international player for CD Ilunion wheelchair basketball, Sara Andres, paralympic athlete, Eva Moral, Paralympic triathlete or Javier Martínez Fernández, bronze medalist in the discipline of boccia.
