Inclusive sport at school

The program “Inclusive Sport at School” (DIE) has been developed by the "Sanitas Foundation" Chair of Studies on Inclusive Sports (CEDI), a chair that was born from the collaboration between the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences-INEF, the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and the Health Foundation. The program is recognized as an exceptional event of public interest by the Fundación Deporte Joven – Consejo Superior de Deportes and the Spanish Paralympic Committee, the Fundación Also and the Community of Madrid collaborate with it.

The general objectives of the DIE are:

For its application, a series of materials and activities have been developed by experts in the field of Physical Education and disability, addressing different sports modalities, among which we find ordinary, adapted and specific sports from an inclusive methodology.

All content is available on the web's private platform http://www.deporteinclusivoescuela.com/, which facilitates access to resources from any place, space and electronic device for teachers, sports professionals, educational centers and other institutions interested in developing the DIE program.

In order to have access to the resources, activities and content of the DIE programme, all the centers and teachers interested in participating must make a firm and unequivocal commitment to its development, which must be formalized in the signature of the commitment to participate by the management of the center.

The time distribution of the entire DIE program process in the 2023/2024 academic year is shown below:

• Registration deadline: until October 6, 2023. (Registration form >>>)
• Communication of the resolution to beneficiary centers: between October 10 and 11, 2023.
• Presentation of the program, training course and delivery of sports equipment: end of October 2023 from 17:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m. at the INEF in Madrid (pending confirmation).
• Development of the program in educational centers: November 2023 - April 2024, covering a total of 18 educational centers.
• Final event: April 26, 2024 (date to be confirmed).
• Delivery of memory by educational centers: until May 17, 2024.
