
"All Community" Championships: Inclusive and adapted sport
Sports meeting for people with and without disabilities
Presentation
With the aim of extending sport to people with disabilities, the Regional Government organizes the "All Community Championships" in collaboration with the Madrid Sports Federations.
This sports promotion initiative is based on the development of inclusive and adapted federated competitions in collaboration with the Madrid single-sport and disability sports federations, with the aim of generating and consolidating benchmark competitive events, as well as standardizing joint training dynamics between athletes with and without disability.
The competitions will take place on September 23, 24 and 25 at various sports facilities in the Community of Madrid, specifically at the Dehesa de Navalcarbón Sports Center (Las Rozas), at the 86 World Swimming Center (Madrid) and at the Canal de Isabel II sports facilities (Madrid).
Participants
It is estimated that around 700 athletes from Madrid will participate, including participants with and without disabilities, who will compete in some of the 20 sports modalities contemplated.
These athletes are integrated into ONCE and the 14 participating Madrid sports federations:

sports modalities
The Madrid Sports Federations have designed an event made up of 20 sports competitions, both individual and collective, in which adapted sport modalities will be combined with other inclusive formats.
Within the "All Community" Championships, inclusive competition is governed by federal regulations, when said competition already exists on a regular basis in its competitive dynamics, and by specific regulations when it comes to organized competitions. and following the best practices for this initiative.
