This is a public-private collaboration initiative of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports, the Commonwealth of the Sierra Norte and the Rascafría City Council. It combines bicycle, sport and nature as the three basic pillars of this meeting, thus contributing to the economic and social revitalization of the area and to the decentralization and diversification of the tourist offer.

Of the three races that are held, the SNBC Non Stop, which reaches its eighth edition, has a route of more than 200 kilometers, and takes place in the cycling ring of the Sierra Norte, Ciclamadrid MTB Tour. This year two other categories will be organized for the third time. On the one hand, the SNBC Gravel, a 101 km non-competitive march that takes place on tracks and by road. And for the families of the participants and all the public in general, the SNBC Family CiclaMadrid, a 20 km promotional bicycle march that runs through the Lozoya Valley and its towns (Oteruelo, Alameda del Valle, Pinilla del Valle and Lozoya).
