The Community of Madrid is going to allocate 100 million euros to the execution of different asphalt operations in 48 municipalities in the region until 2026, through the Regional Investment Program –PIR–.

The PIR 2022/2026 has a budget of 1.000 million euros, which represents the largest investment in the history of this program in the region. This public initiative seeks to guarantee the principles of solidarity and inter-municipal balance within the framework of social and economic policy, collaborating in the comprehensive and adequate provision of local competence services throughout its territory.

52 renovated streets in Aranjuez

In Aranjuez, the Community of Madrid has renovated a total of 52 streets, thereby improving road safety and the mobility of residents. This project, which has affected an area of ​​almost 200.000 square meters, has had a PIR investment of almost two million euros and has involved the remodeling of the roads: Primero de Mayo, Abastos, Abdon Borny, Almansa, Almíbar, Alpajes , Ancha, Andrés Martínez, Bailén, Captain Angosto Gómez Castrillón, Calandria, Circunvalación and Corrado Gianquinto.

Likewise, works have been carried out in the area of ​​De los Cuarteles, De la Escuadra, Del Rey, Eras, Florida, Francisco Bayeu, Hospital, Infantas, Lucas Jordán, Mar Chico, Minas de Sal, Montecillo, Montesinos, Montserrat and Moreras. Also in Naranja, Nueva, Olmos, Postas, Primavera, Príncipe, Sal, San Antonio, Santa Inés, Santa Isabel, San Isidoro, Santiago Rusiño, Sóforas, Stuart, Trinquete and Virgen de las Nieves.
