The Community of Madrid has processed 120.000 inquiries from its Consumer Service Office
The Community of Madrid has managed almost 120.000 inquiries at the Consumer Service Office that has provided its services to citizens since 2017. This free public resource of the regional government offers advice to consumers and companies in person (25% of the total), telephone through 91 310 59 03 (44%), telematics (31%) or by video calls (1%). In addition, it processes the communications received by the General Directorate of Commerce, Consumption and Services and the Regional Institute of Consumer Arbitration.

Located on Ramírez de Prado street in the capital, it is open to the public from 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. At its headquarters, general questions of the matter or procedures on inspection, sanctions or arbitration files are resolved. In addition, claims are filed and document registration tasks are carried out.
With the aim of providing a quality service and increasing the service channels, three years ago the appointment was launched and since 2022 it has been integrated into the regional government project 360º office.
As a complement, the regional administration also provides information and advice in this area through the Consumer Portal, hosted on the institutional website. There, you can find specialized reports, short audiovisuals, links to submit claims and requests for arbitration.
It also includes notices about dangerous product alerts, questions and answers about frequently asked questions and current news on topics related to the protection of the rights and interests of consumers.
