The Community of Madrid extends with 8 million the incentives for the indefinite hiring of the unemployed
The Community of Madrid has approved an increase of 8 million euros in its investment for incentives for the permanent hiring of unemployed people in 2023. This has been authorized today by the Governing Council in a measure that raises the initial budget to add a total of 22,5, XNUMX million.
This investment by the regional government will favor the employment of long or very long-term unemployed, people returned from abroad and people over 45 years of age, especially those over 55, as well as those who carry out their work in rural municipalities in the region with less than 5.000 inhabitants.
Self-employed workers, companies and private or non-profit entities based in the Community of Madrid may benefit from these direct subsidies. The amount will vary between 5.500 and 10.000 euros, depending on the circumstances of the person hired, and maintenance of the contract and registration with Social Security are required for a minimum period of 12 months.
The regional Executive establishes different cases that involve an increase in aid, such as the first contract made by a self-employed person where an increase in the incentive of 2.000 euros is applied.
These aids, corresponding to one of the lines included in the Program for the Promotion of Recruitment, can be requested electronically at any time of the year through the electronic headquarters of the Community of Madrid.
