Díaz Ayuso announces financial aid for the oldest businesses in the region

The acting president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, announced today that the regional Executive will approve in this Legislature a support plan with economic aid for 1.500 businesses that are more than 50 years old. The Comercios con Solera program is aimed at this type of commercial and hotel establishments as it is a sign of regional identity.

In the tax field, a new bonus of up to 95% is foreseen for both municipal and regional taxes. In the first case, the reduction of the IBI (Real Estate Tax), IAE (Economic Activities), ICIO (Constructions, Installations and Works) and the fees paid for their activities will be agreed with the municipalities. And in the regional framework, it will affect Asset Transfers and Documentary Legal Acts.

The acting head of the Madrid Government has reiterated the need to eliminate any type of regulation that hinders the work of these professionals, and, therefore, will promote the elimination of urban planning permits for all hotel and restaurant businesses, replacing them with a responsible declaration , as has been the case in stores for 10 years.

In addition, the most traditional businesses will also have priority in the granting of aid for their modernization and innovation, as will happen in the next call for subsidies for SMEs commercial offices of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment. In this same, they will have specific aid for the conservation and rehabilitation of premises subject to protection for being historical heritage.
