The Community of Madrid renews its investment for free substitute buses on Metro line 7B
The acting Governing Council of the Community of Madrid has given the green light, at its meeting today, to a new Metro contract to continue providing the substitute free bus service due to the temporary suspension due to the works on line 7B in San Fernando deHenares. The investment of the regional Executive for this device amounts to a total of 2,2 million euros.
This transport for subway users has been operating since last summer between San Fernando de Henares and the Hospital del Henares to facilitate their movements. The buses they will continue to make stops near the stations affected by the works during the same hours as the Metro service, between 06.00:01.30 and XNUMX:XNUMX.
The works of the regional government on line 7B that are carried out between 2023 and 2024, for a value of more than 3 million euros, carry out work to strengthen the infrastructure and the affected land, to ensure its stability and solve the problems due to water seepage in this section.
The regional Executive maintains control and evaluation mechanisms that guarantee the security of the underground network.
