This is a special program that takes place in 12 public libraries dependent on the Community of Madrid on the occasion of the start of vacations in educational centers, so that it represents a leisure alternative for schoolchildren and a measure to help conciliation familiar.

There will be 12 workshops aimed at children from 4 to 6 years old, including one specifically adapted for children with special needs and another intergenerational one, for grandchildren and grandparents. The other 12 are for children from 7 to 11 years old, also including an inclusive one.

The programming includes topics such as art, science, cinema, history, languages, the environment or robotics, without losing sight of books and reading, and with a playful and educational approach. Each workshop lasts for five days, from Monday to Friday, in the morning, from 10:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. To participate in them, it is necessary to have the Unique Community of Madrid Library Card and not be penalized on the end date of the registration period.

These activities will be hosted by the Pedro Salinas libraries (Center); Rafael Alberti (Fuencarral-El Pardo); Antonio Mingote (Latin); Acuna (Moncloa-Aravaca); Miguel Hernández (Puente de Vallecas); Jose Hierro (Usera); Luis Martin-Santos (Villa de Vallecas); Maria Moliner (Villaverde); José Luis Sampedro (Chamberí); Javier Marias (Moratalaz); Elena Fortún (Retirement), and Luis Rosales (Carabanchel).
