The Community of Madrid announces the II Young Entrepreneurship Awards to encourage innovative projects
The Community of Madrid has convened the second edition of the Young Entrepreneurship Awards, which will have an endowment of 100.000 euros to promote innovative projects and social or environmental commitment developed by Madrid residents between the ages of 14 and 30 and holders of the Youth Card.

These awards are divided into two categories. Innovation will recognize those proposals that have anticipated the demands of society, providing solutions to new needs or introducing future business concepts, market sectors, channels and alternatives in their development. For its part, the Social and/or Environmental Commitment will reward the proposals that have a greater degree of inclusion of people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion and those that take into account the promotion of equality between women and men, as well as such as the commitment to caring for and respecting the environment, among other aspects.
The winner of each modality will receive 16.000 euros, the second 12.000, the third 10.000, the fourth 7.000 and the fifth 5.000, amounts that they can use to make their projects come true. In addition, all the winners will receive a commemorative distinction.
The jury will include the Secretary General of the Ibero-American Federation of Young Entrepreneurs (FIJE), Antonio Magraner; the Secretary General of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), José Alberto González-Ruiz, the CEO of Grupo Salvaje, Fermín Azkue, and the General Director of Youth of the Community of Madrid, Nikolay Yordanov.
