The Community of Madrid opens the period to request aid for projects for the social and labor insertion of people with disabilities
The Community of Madrid has opened this week the period for submitting aid applications for associations and non-profit entities in the region that care for people with disabilities and carry out specific actions for their social and labor insertion.

The objective of this call is to promote the access of people with disabilities, whether physical, intellectual, sensory or derived from a mental illness, to the labor market through projects developed by specialized associations that promote active inclusion and the improvement of employability of the participants.
The call defines two types of actions that can be financed. The first one refers to integrated insertion itineraries for those who have a medium/low level of employability who need to develop social and work skills to access employment opportunities. For its part, the second is aimed at accompaniment and support services to facilitate maintenance in an ordinary job for those who are already working, but who need to overcome certain obstacles.
The beneficiaries undertake to provide their care service free of charge and to assess the incorporation into these itineraries of people referred from the Base Assessment and Orientation Centers to this group of the Community of Madrid or, where appropriate, from the Health Services. Mental. With these subsidies, which this year amount to 1.325.000 euros co-financed at 40% by the European Social Fund Plus, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Social Policy can count on initiatives promoted by the Third Sector associative fabric that complement those that directly develops the Community. Applications can be submitted until June 12, and all the information can be found at this link.
