The Community of Madrid disseminates its intervention model with minors and young people who comply with judicial measures. On the one hand, the regional Executive, through the Agency for the Reeducation and Reintegration of Offender Minors (ARRMI), has responded to a request for collaboration from the Ministry of Government of the Republic of Panama, in order to strengthen its juvenile justice system. .
Thus, during the past months of March and April, professionals from the ARRMI's Central Services and Centers for the Execution of Judicial Measures have given various online training sessions to those responsible for this area in the Central American country.
In the transmission of this content, special emphasis has been placed on one of the main hallmarks of the policies of assistance to the people of the collective: the individualization of the treatment, with the existence of specialized programs, especially related to singular crimes such as those of sexual nature or ascending family abuse.
In turn, the two general or transversal programs applied by the Community of Madrid have been analyzed with the representatives of the Panamanian Executive: the Central Program for Educational and Therapeutic Treatment, and the PREVI-A technical tool. The latter has been prepared by ARRMI itself in collaboration with the Complutense University of Madrid and is used to evaluate the intervention carried out with minors and young offenders in the region, particularly with those who comply with judicial measures, whether they are internment or medium. open longer.
On the other hand, representatives of the Agency for the Reeducation and Reintegration of Juvenile Offenders have recently participated in a meeting held in the Portuguese town of Cascais, within the framework of the Voice Project, which promotes the participation of young people in European policies that concern them. , including access to the labor market for those who are in a situation of social difficulty.
