In February there were a total of eight fatal work accidents, three of which occurred ongoing (during the journey from home to the workplace or vice versa), two in the service sector and another in the industrial sector. The other five were during the working day (two in construction and the remaining three in services).

The Regional Institute for Safety and Health at Work (IRSST) continues with its prevention work and resumes its weekly radio spots on Onda Madrid dedicated to current affairs in this area in the Community. Thus, different experts will participate in the program Madrid Works, where they will also answer questions from listeners.

The broadcast of these contents will continue until December, with the aim of creating a culture of prevention among workers and businessmen in the region.
