Publication of Strategic Plans related to Renewable Thermal Aid
Strategic plans presented in the Aid program for the implementation of renewable thermal energy installations in different sectors of the economy of the Community of Madrid.
Renewable Thermal Aids
Within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU, aid has been called for the implementation of renewable thermal energy installations in different sectors of the economy of the Community of Madrid.
The eligible actions are those listed below, which must meet the requirements established in Annex I of the Royal Decree 1124/2021, of December 21, which approves the direct granting to the autonomous communities and cities of Ceuta and Melilla of aid for the execution of incentive programs for the implementation of thermal renewable energy installations in different sectors of the economy, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and be carried out in the territory of the Community of Madrid:
- Incentive Program 1: Implementation of thermal renewable energy installations in the industrial, agricultural, services and/or other sectors of the economy, including the residential sector.
- Incentive program 2: Implementation of thermal renewable energy installations in non-residential buildings, establishments and public sector infrastructures.
The renewable thermal technologies included are solar thermal, biomass, geothermal, hydrothermal or aerothermal and district heat and/or cold microgrids.

Strategic Plans - Renewable thermal aid
The strategic plan is part of the documentation to be provided in the application phase for facilities with nominal production power greater than 100 kW, as established in Annex AII.1 of the aforementioned Royal Decree 1124/2021, of December 21.
Said plan must indicate the origin or place of manufacture (national, European or international) of the components of the facilities and their environmental impact, including storage, the quality or durability criteria used to select the different components, the interoperability of the facilities or its potential to offer services to the system, as well as the driving effect on SMEs and the self-employed that the project is expected to have. It may also include estimates of its impact on local employment and on the local, regional and national industrial value chain.

Article 25.4 of Royal Decree 1124/2021, of December 21, establishes that the authority calling for aid must publish the strategic plans provided by the applicants in the case of installations greater than 100 kW of nominal production power. Furthermore, said strategic plan must be accessible from the publications or web pages of the ultimate beneficiaries of the aid.
In compliance with the aforementioned provision, the strategic plans that appear in the files subject to the granting of aid for the implementation of renewable thermal energy installations in different sectors of the economy of the Community of Madrid are published below.
