Nominative grants for non-profit entities

1. In the current General Budgets of the Community of Madrid, for the 2024 financial year, approved by law 15/2023, of December 27, a nominative subsidy has been provided for the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. The amount of the subsidy amounts to 100.000 euros

2. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando will allocate the total amount of the subsidy to defray current operating expenses and to carry out the entity's own cultural and artistic activities.

3. Likewise, it will mean for the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando to carry out the following activities:

a) Collaboration as a Consultative Institution of the Community of Madrid, through the requests made by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and the Spanish Office, for the correct compliance with current regulations regarding the protection of Spanish Historical Heritage, competence of the Community of Madrid.

b) The possible use by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Temporary Exhibition Hall, twice a year at most, in accordance with the cultural program of the Academy and the Ministry.

c) The use of the Academy's Assembly Hall by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports, for cultural events that are mutually agreed upon and possible meetings of the advisory bodies of the Ministry: Culture Council, Regional Commission of Museums, Commission Regional Historical Heritage, Library Council and Archives Council.

d) The use of the Library and Archive of the Royal Academy by those researchers and scholars who are presented by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports.

e) Advising the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and the Spanish Office in carrying out studies, inventories and publications related to the protection of the historical heritage of the Community of Madrid.

4. The period for carrying out the subsidized activities will be from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

5. This Order, which is formulated under the provisions of the first paragraph of article 4.5 and articles 11 to 14 of Law 2/1995, of March 8, on Subsidies of the Community of Madrid, modified by Law 6/ 2011, of December 28, on Fiscal and Administrative Measures, is subject to the rules of administrative law that regulate the Orders of the Public Administration.

Within this framework, in the current General Budgets of the Community of Madrid, for the year 2024, charged to item 48016, of Program 337C "Historical-Artistic Heritage", a nominative grant has been approved for the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, for an amount of €100.000, to carry out various activities whose purpose is the conservation and improvement of historical-artistic heritage.

1.The purpose of the nominative subsidy is to contribute to the maintenance of the current expenses of the Foundation, which will carry out, among others, the following activities:

1. Promote the Royal Tapestry Factory as an institution that embodies the historical tradition of Royal Spanish Manufactures, within the framework of European culture.

b) Contribute to the conservation and restoration of the tapestries and carpets that constitute the historical legacy of the Spanish Crown and are preserved in the different Royal Residences, Buildings and Museums dependent on the National Heritage and the Public Powers and in general the assets of that character that is part of the Cultural Heritage.

c) Keep alive the textile activity of carpets and tapestries that has been classic of the Royal Tapestry Factory and the traditional techniques, to create and sustain research programs of new forms and techniques of weaving tapestries, rugs and similar manufacturing in the framework of new aesthetic trends and on cartoons by contemporary artists.

d) Facilitate the transmission and teaching of trades related to weaving, conservation and restoration of tapestries and carpets.

e) The creation of research laboratories for new tissue restoration and analysis techniques

f) Make accessible, through temporary or permanent exhibitions, the history, activities, techniques and documentation of the Royal Tapestry Factory and its products.

g) Organize Congresses, Seminars and meetings, both nationally and internationally, on topics related to the history and production of the Royal Tapestry Factory and other similar manufactures.

2. The period for carrying out the subsidized activities will be from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

3. This subsidy is nominally provided for in the General Budgets of the Community of Madrid for 2024, so the procedure by which it is granted is direct concession, by virtue of the provisions of article 22.2 of the General Law of Subsidies and in Art.4.5 a) of Law 2/1995, of March 8, on Subsidies of the Community of Madrid, being subject to the rules of administrative law that regulate the Orders of the Public Administration.

In the current General Budgets of the Community of Madrid, for the 2024 financial year, approved by Law 15/2023, of December 27, a nominative subsidy has been provided for the REAL FÁBRICA DE TAPICES FOUNDATION. The amount of the subsidy amounts to 500.000 euros.

1.The purpose of the subsidy is the rehabilitation project of the Cathedral of the Redeemer, C/ Beneficencia, in Madrid. The work takes place in the Schools building, which is part of the cathedral building. The property is owned by the Spanish Reformed Episcopal Church, an entity associated with the Evangelical Council of Madrid.

2. The period for carrying out the subsidized activities will be from January 1, 2024 to October 30, 2024.

3. This subsidy is nominally provided for in the General Budgets of the Community of Madrid for 2024, so the procedure by which it is granted is direct concession, by virtue of the provisions of article 22.2 of the General Law of Subsidies and in Art.4.5 a) of Law 2/1995, of March 8, on Subsidies of the Community of Madrid, being subject to the rules of administrative law that regulate the Orders of the Public Administration.

In the current General Budgets of the Community of Madrid, for the financial year 2024, approved by law 15/2023, charged to item 78019, of Program 337C “Historical-Artistic Heritage”, a nominative subsidy has been approved to the Evangelical Council and associated entities, for the amount of €30.000, to carry out various activities whose purpose is the conservation and improvement of historical-artistic heritage.
