THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS ENDS ON MAY 7
Private non-profit entities belonging to the Community of Madrid may request, from April 16 to May 7, the aid for their archives called this year by the regional government. More than 83.000 euros with which they will be able to subsidize the adaptation of their archive deposits; carry out comprehensive archival organization and treatment actions; undertake the digitization and/or microfilming of its historical documentary collections; and address projects and activities to disseminate documentary heritage.
THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS ENDS ON MAY 13
The City Councils of the Community of Madrid will be able to request, from April 22 to May 13, the aid for their archives called by the regional Government for 2024. This year the investment amounts to 120.000 euros with which they will be able to subsidize a new equipment for its archives, address the organization and comprehensive archival treatment of its disorganized documentary collections, carry out their restoration, and undertake projects and activities to disseminate the documentary heritage kept in its archives.

Meet the Archives Portal
INFORMATION AND DISSEMINATION PLATFORM
The Archives of the Community of Madrid launches a new Archives Portal that aims to continue being the main information platform to publicize the rich documentary collections held by the Regional Archive of the Community of Madrid and the Historical Archive of Protocols of Madrid, as well as to carry out permanent dissemination work on the activities carried out by the General Subdirectorate of Archives and Document Management and the Archives Council of the Community of Madrid.
