Second edition of the Chamber Opera Festival of the Community of Madrid
The opera ignites. It burns. It transforms.
Opera a quemarropa returns with a more international, younger, and more challenging edition. During June and July, we celebrate the risk-taking, critical thinking, and intimacy of the chamber music format with a vibrant program: established and emerging voices, reinvented classics, and previously unreleased works that break new ground.
The festival will take place in Alcalá de Henares, San Lorenzo de El Escorial, and Aranjuez, the three World Heritage cities in the Community of Madrid.
Opera at Point Blank is a free voice, unfiltered aesthetics, and urgent creation. The Community of Madrid strengthens its commitment to cultural innovation, bringing opera to new audiences, new formats, and new questions.
