That's how it was 1, 2, 3... PERFORMA! 2023
Live art proposal for children and families in the summer of 2023
1, 2, 3… PERFORMA! is an interactive and immersive experience in which children become artists and promoters of mobile sculptures. It took place on June 27 and 30 and July 7 in Galapagar, El Escorial, and Olmeda de las Fuentes (see program below).
The artist Elisa Miravalles invites us to create a sculptural garden whose main characteristic is mobility and dynamism, through objects that evoke the work of Calder. In a playful environment, we will play with elements of contemporary art (balance, chaos, composition, drawing, volume, improvisation...) and with the basic principles of action art (the body, time, space, and the object). The artist will provide guidelines so that this experience will empower our imagination and encourage us to explore the art of action from an early age.
