The practice of physical activity and sport in the school population from the perspective of neuroscience
Program

Within the global strategy to combat sedentary lifestyle and physical inactivity, the practice of physical activity and sport in the school population represents a particularly sensitive indicator.

Making visible the benefits of regular physical exercise and generating evidence about them is key to promoting healthy lifestyles in the population. In this sense, neuroscience also provides evidence on the relationship between physical activity and academic performance and school performance, an issue that can be very useful when it comes to influencing those families who have a biased perception of physical activity and sport, and who may not perceive the benefits associated with it.

For this reason, within the Continuous Training Program in the field of physical activity and sport, this training action has been scheduled in which it is intended to provide keys on said evidence and keys for the practical development of the same.
